Summary
The purpose of this essay is to illustrate the discussion of the mystery of Christ in theology manuals in order to arrive at a new way of thinking about the theme of incarnation. Doing this requires us first to look at the great importance of this theology, and then to understand not only the structure of Christology manuals, but also the fundamental weakness in that structure which eventually led to the abandonment of the centrality of incarnation for a new methodological approach.
