Lo studio passa in rassegna gli aspetti essenziali della celebrazione cristiana, rivisitati dall’opera riformatrice del Vaticano II: il mistero celebrato; il ruolo dello Spirito Santo; la partecipazione; la testimonianza; l’inculturazione; la traduzione. Per ogni capitolo si evidenzia la comprensione prospettata dalla Sacrosanctum Concilium e le problematiche essenziali tuttora vive in proposito, attingendo alla letteratura apparsa in questi anni. La panoramica si chiude sottolineando come l’adattamento rituale ha ispirato il vissuto ecclesiale, partendo appunto dalla liturgia intesa non come cerimonia, ma come celebrazione del mistero di colui che sconvolge le nostre proiezioni e previsioni.
This study makes a review of the essential aspects of the Christian celebration, that are seen under the perspective of the liturgical reform performed by Vatican II: the celebrated mystery, the role of the Holy Spirit, the taking part, the witness, the enculturation, the translation. For each chapter it is stressed the understanding that is presented by Sacrosanctum Concilium and the essential problems that are still alive with regard to it, drawing information from the literature which has been published in these years. The overview ends stressing the importance of the cultural adaptation that has inspired the Church’s life, starting just from liturgy, that is understood not as a ceremony, but as a celebration of the mystery of the One who upsets our projections and expectations.
